MFT Abroad

Dr. Nickolas Jordan, Program Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program, along with Dr. Vachel Miller, Interim Program Director of the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership are heading a study abroad trip to Ethiopia in May. Students will spend roughly 2.5 weeks at Bahir Dar University, learning about family therapy in an Ethiopian context, learning about issues of social/educational change in East Africa, human rights, and social justices from a cross-cultural perspective. While there, students will be immersed in Ethiopian culture with opportunities to explore rich historical and cultural sites.
